    Vishu - YES up here in Scotland but it's much drier where Aym lives.

    Joyce21- okay......no wonder British writers describe rain and drizzle with words like 'damp', 'dull', 'gloomy' etc. That always puzzled me as a kid because rain and clouds here signify fun, happyness, hope and romance.

    Looks like you encountered a rare retreating monsoon shower. image 

    The walled city is in chaos right now, cuz underground metro is being laid down. Lots of traffic jams. Some experts are afraid that the construction could damage hawa mahal.

    Btw, you should have visited keoladeo bird scantury in bharatpur. Lots of migratory birds there in winters.

    Vishu - we stayed overnight at Bharatpur but I couldn't find the photos. It was a wonderful experience.
