I got one specimen as a present 2 years ago. A plant of interest all year round: evergreen foliage, tiny highly-scented flowers in the winter months followed by berries. Can grow to 2 metres, but can be cut back if space is limited. Here are 2 photos from my garden at http://www.rezeau.org/wp-garden/en/sarcococca-confusa-2/
Just a quick post to show a bit of my front garden which I planted up this spring. Foliage of Helleborus 'Winter Moonbeam', Fuchsia magellanica 'Aurea', and Hakonechloa macrantha, with flowers of Cyclamen hederifolium peeping through!

Yet more lovely blooms Aym. I have a similar looking Begonia.
Hello aym280! Your post 3 days ago made me laugh.
There's a real cycleman for you:
Your Streptocarpus flowers are incredible. The latest ones make me think of vanilla & strawberry ice cream. Yummy!
RB. . . my Sarcoccoa is in a pot at the back door for the same reason.
Aym....it was still dark here at 8am!! I think my grass has stopped growing now.
