maybe it is the hot flushes aym, i've had them about 8 years now,...

yes pretty cyclamen, i don't have much else flowering at the moment. How exciting you have potted up your agapanthas, i love those. Neighbour gave me a big clump in soil in a bucket, i have put it in cold greenhouse? I have one lovely dark blue one in a pot out the front on which the flowers have long since gone, but i'm left with the seed heads, guess i should cut them off?

I took delivery of free lily bulbs x 15, an offer somewhere just pay p&p, think i shall pot them up rather than put them in the garden....i shall have pots everywhere if i am to grow dahlia's in pots too ;) can't have too many pots can you? ;)

That makes very good sense aym, i would do the same..dig everything up that i possibly could and take them with me....i will google the plant that is in the cats space, never heard of it? Galanthus i believe are snowdrops? Correct me if i am wrong, off to walk my doggie, bobble hat on!

Love the cobia scandens aym, is yours purple or white? Sarah raven sells the seedlings, i would need a plant though, i couldn't be trusted with seedlings ;)

Thats very interesting, will be fun to see what colour it turns out? Glad you told me about the tendrils, if i do find one i will make sure i plant it somewhere suitable ;)

after seeing some platycodon and a wattakkar sinensis (spelling) at an NGS garden i bought one of each, the bell flowers are so unusual and the sinensis so delicate and had a beautiful smell.

friday night i went to a talk by simon dodsworth, english iris company, very interesting and i came home with "ice pinnacle" ....i joined a local horti group in november....nice bunch ;) do you do anything like that? They have a spring and autumn show, i popped along to the autumn one and thought actually my beans, my cherry toms and my gladioli would have been good enough to take along, the more the merrier they said. Am planning to try my daffs at the spring show ;)

Morning everyone image hope you have managed to miss out On the storms or are you still waiting on them arriving? Dry but getting increasingly colder here with a very sharp wind.may get somethings potted on today or....(maybe not) imageimageimage. Decisions decisions. Quite like sitting with onsie and bobble hat on lol image. All my sunflowers this year were from the birdseed I buy...just thought I'd try them out and I got tall singular ones, multiple headed ones and teeny tiny ones....(can't seem to find the pic of wee one, must be on other device).

  • Hi Aym ?. See someone needs to get the window cleaner in lol.....(not you)! ?

Thanks, it's a climbing rose and there are new buds coming from it at the moment....crazy weather isn't it as I have nasturtiums and Pom Pom marigolds still in bloom and growing away. Not sure about the parsnips Aym and if growing by seed then they have to be new ones each year as they don't store the way other seeds do.

sorry for missing your last Loana...? They are petunias and the small striped one at bottom is a marigold..?

Good to have a rant now and again Aym...????
