  • I am just finishing a "roll n crisps and a cup T" then up to "Bedfordshire pour moi" nite Nite all...????

  • Thanks clarice I will look into the Primo. The carrots and spinach sounds good to try too. I have ornamental cabbage I grew from seed in wall pots now so a small cabbage variety would not be hard to accomodate. Thanks for the offer of the seeds it is very kind of you but I have way more than I can handle for the moment.

The snake would not bother me too much I am quite fond of reptiles, we have a lizard but I can understand peoples fear of them. I would not fancy coming across a wild boar on a country walk, especialy one with little ones. That is also scary having hunting so close, guns and idiots are not a good combination.

aym280 the Krays just sound better and betterimage Hope you manage to get some good bargains.

Just googled it on RHS website, that's a nice plant aym...evergreen, pretty flowers and scented too ?

  • Hi aym280, sounds like you are having a bad couple of days, hope the arthritus pain calms down and you can get back to your gardening quickly. Cold here too today but you have it worse in your neck of the woods from what I see on the forecast. I am debating bringing in my dwarf azalea, it is supposed to be hardy but it was a young plant when I got it earlier in the year. Not sure the 30cm plastic pot will be enough to protect it from frost with it being a shallow rooted plant. It seems to be doing ok for now but I don't want to kill it off. May get something to wrap it if I leave it out. Cool tulips, very pretty, I like the red and white combinationsimage
