Thank you aym for your tips and clips ? I will take a look soon. My friend has a gorgeous lilac climbing rose, am sure she would give me a cutting. Great you are trying to save your plants for next year.
Shame no heat in your sons room where you need it...what about a little fan heater, i bought one last winter as our bedroom can be chilly when winter really sets in...it was cheap and only needs to be on a few mins.
bloodrose has a point, have you tried environmental health, maybe there is a grant available to fill the cracks, it can't be healthy for you or your son.
I stopped communicating with my ex 12 years ago....life...
i have a very bruised eye socket, look like i've been punched...this mornng said eye was totally stuck shut, lots of warm bathing to clear it. Back to work tmrw, better get up a bit earlier to sort my eye out...
took our guest for a drive out today, i picked up some reduced terracotta pots...i'm thinking dahlia's....he picked up some odds and ends..
Bloodrose, sorry to hear about your back, really debilitating...i'm new on here, everyone very nice ?
Ouch Loana,? Hope your eye isn't so bad come the morning, did they say how long till it heals?
sorry Aym, just read back and didnt realize you asked about my potatoes..?. We had a few disappointments due to lifting tooo early and some that got soaked with the amount of rain we recieved but we did manage to harvest a few good meals worth and had a smile on my face as first time we have ever did "tatties" and it's true, they DEFINATELY taste better than shop bought.
loana, hope your friend is enjoying his stay...how long was his drive down, a fair bit I'd imagine? ?
I had written a reply to you all and then hit thecwrong button!
Clarice, beautiful pictures...our friend took 2 days to drive down, had a half way stop off. Consultant said a week to heal but could come back, it is called a chalzion, strange word
aym, sounds like you have several issues going on, good for you that you contacted authorities....doesn't sound like it will do much good though, as you say probably better to sort it yourself, and dog barking too, that is unfair, lack of consideration on their part...
The Blue one Really is a Blue but not showing itself fully on pic....It's teeny tiny and flowers for one day..called "Commlina Dianthifolia", also known as the "Birdbill Dayflower", it's a lovely wee thing.
First one is a young Olive tree I bought hubby last year which is now wrapped up for winter. Second is the flowers from a Dwarf French Bean....?
The last of my wee flower from wild flower seeds strip....it really doesn't want to give up the ghost, even through torrential rain yesterday/today....?. Don't know the name of it I'm afraid.
It looks like Linaria/Snapdragon clarice673, it is very pretty.
aym280 I have felt geriatric for the last month It is a trapped nerve in my lower back so I've got constant pain and shooting ones in strange places. The sun was out today and although it was cold it was lovely, I slapped on a heat pad and got outside and stuck in. It looks a lot better and everything out there now will fend for itself pretty much over the winter.
Tut the enviromental health seem useful don't they I hope you managed to get it all sealed up and it improves for you.
Oh thanks for that Aym ?, yes it's tiny....just looked, it's "Moroccan toadflax Snapdragon"....?. It's cold for us I suppose but seems milder compared to usual....just very wet. When we get the cold, we get the cold! Here in France the winters are like the Scottish Highlands.
I've heard parts of Scotland have had minus 7 today but I'm sure other places are well below that, but their a very hardy lot aym lol...????.
