Hi aym, i have never seen poldark, so cannot comment on the fiddle music...perhaps your son could try to play it for you?

It was this year that started that change, after 35 years of owning a horse i sold mine to a good friend, it has been liberating, the freedom it has brought me.....the next chapter of my life....i just woke up one day and it was time for a change, no regrets on either side, she adores her ;)

Hi aym, yes i do watch tv but not a lot as i find a lot of it a waste of brain effort, would rather google plants at the moment ;)

lovely pics again aym, you certainly get about ;) i bought my first echinacea this year, lime green , big heads, gorgeous....until my hubby's dog pee'd up it and it died. Bought another not the same though, am i supposed to dig it up and bring it into cold greenhouse? Am getting worried about my new plant friends struggling through the winter, cosmos is still flowering at mo, supposed to be a milder week for us?

    Hi aym280

flower/plant your talking about is: Amaranthus caudatus, also known as Love-Lies-Bleeding. I will have some seeds if you would like? I just sow them thinly on top of damp compost then placed a clear lid over them, no need to cover as they need the light. Once you have them I think you may always have them as they throw out thousands of seeds but if they grow large...(which some of mine did) then I think they look stunning. Do well in a vase as shown....image

Hi aym, yes the nursery man said we were to trim 2 thirds off the stems in february and top dress it, so that it may bush out next year....i forgot to say my friend had one too, also £5, there was one left, we felt sorry for it but couldn't fit it in the van ;))

clarice, beautiful photos, this is my vanilla fraise, not great pic but it is lovely ;) hoping to get 'annabelle' at some point, huge flowers ;)

Hi aym, what is the white passion flower called, it sounds lovely...i have the one in clarice's picture, planted this year, it has been very slow getting going...i'm training it along the top of my veg plot fence, with a bit of wire, the fence is only 4' high ( had to put the fence up to stop the dogs trashing the veg, accidentally left the polytunnel door open one day and they decaptitated my hispi's! ;)
