Thanks for thecwarning aym, money down the soil, like that lovely rose, maybe put it in your house and savour its beauty before the weather gets it? I do have a lovely scented cream rose called the shepherdess, a gift...
joyce, you are a busy lady then caring forOH, very tiring for you....i hope you get some time to enjoy your garden....your daughter busy too, has her hands full with youngsters
love our slow cooker, great for me whilst at work knowing dinner for hubby is bubbling along hope your stew turns out nice, i've done lamb shanks but not stew, have to try that off to work today....
Aym, that's a lovely rose. I'll stick with the cosmos, I enjoy growing them. Penstemons will flower all the time. A few years ago when I had penstemons I saw a humming bird bee, haven't seen one since.
Hi everyone , great pics as usual. I also had the slow cooker on yesterday...(beef casserole) to warm the soul lol as its very grey, wet and windy here. Also made a big pot of soup so that's us sorted for the next couple of days. I don't have the name for the white flower, I have had it since 2004 when we moved here, anyone know? It's easily taken from cuttings and comes back year after year.
Morn aym and clarice, my ipad wouldn't kick in last night,so a quick peek this morn, before off to take care of my friends too horses as a thank you. Severe frost here this morn, hope i got my new babies in the warm in time
what lovely pictures ladies to brighten ones morning, thank you off to brave the cold....
our internet always plays up when we have bad weather due to us being rural and basically in the middle of the woods. I keep kindle/iPad/laptop all charged as we do get days with no electricity and this in turn means I can at least read.
aym, it is in indeed a hibiscus.....(didn't like where it was placed this year so didn't do to well), I've lifted it again and shall maybe have it in a pot next year as the size of the flowers when I had it in pot were enormous.
aym sometimes I do use a stock cube for my casseroles and if need be thicken up with a wee bit off cornflower and other times its the Bxxxo powder mixed with some cornflower and believe it or not, 3/4 teaspoons off coffee granules.....(its fine, you don't taste it but it gives the gravy that lovely rich dark Colour)
