Been busy in the garden today, pruning and cutting and a bit of weeding. We had mange tout peas, broad beans, runner beans and courgettes from the garden with our fish, then garden raspberries & cream.

Hope your back and knees feel better in the morning, Lesley.

That cake sounds yummy, Fairygirl, Fairylet obviously has good taste image

What are you doing tomorrow then, RB?

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Thanks for the heads up about Roger's match Joyce - I've just set the recorder in case I don't get home till later. Might have to see if I can sneak away early 'cos I need to go to the SM too.

It's very late now - need to get some shut eye. Night all image

Well I'm awake now -HRH needed to go out.

Lilyp, I haven't seen the film but I do like those actors you mentioned. I have a confession - I don't like movies, would rather watch informative doccos or such like. Yes, I know, boring old girl, but hey if you can't please yourself, too bad.image

Today we have an appointment with the Vet, Tuesday is another app. to see a solicitor to update our wills, Wednesday, is chiro for Hubby and x-ray of my teeth for the dentist  to study, Thursday, we might have a free day - that'll do for now.

ive got punnets of seedlings that need to go out, but haven't decided which bed to squeeze them into.

Every time I look out the window, I can't imagine any plants wanting to be out in that frost. There was a fat hare snuggled on top of the contour bank When I looked out. I had to wonder why he hadn't got under the pine tree and snuggled into the pine needles.

    night to all.

    Morning all.

Feeling very stiff and sore this morning as we are complete softies so as our darling little puppy (2year old 30kg German Shepherd) was being a completely needy cuddle monster because I'd been at work all weekend we let him stay on the bed. In our defence we thought he'd get too hot and go and lay on the floor.

Turns out he had decided he was staying as close to me as he could ALL night. I ended up curled up in a small ball trying to hug my pillow so I didn't fall off the bed.

Hopefully the sun will shine through and ease my joints. Thank goodness I have today off!

Happy birthday to the birthday girls and boys.

    Morning all.

Late night blethering and slightly earlier than usual morning. Wren up, all up and since her pal Hell's Nell spent the night in the boot room it was all too exciting for sleep! image Once we had the "morning mental" greetings and chasies they went and fell asleep at opposite ends of the kitchen! image

Dull and overcast at the mo with promises of rain. Whoop whoop!
