    Evening all.

A day of pottering in the hot tunnel avoiding rain and cold.

Runny, the knee is coming along slowly ( very , very slowly ) thanks.

No crutches to-day but still taking painkillers ( did you see that Lyn? )

No idea when I'll be able to perform and emergency stop, so can't drive as yet.

    Hey ho.

    Lots worse off than I.

    Devon.

Extension RB. Looks like a bombsite just now. At least it's been dry.....

Hopefully getting out tomorrow Joyce. Not sure where yet, but thinking of An Caisteal and Beinn a Chroin at Crianlarich. Not been there for a long time.

I keep telling myself it will all be fine RB image

Can't really do any gardening other than tying in some new clematis shoots and moving seedlings in and out. I was going to cut the grass but it's covered in stuff all the time. It will recover when I eventually get to it I suppose.  Front is currently covered in timber and bulk bags of sand etc.

Frustrating for you Hosta, especially at this time of year when you want to get on outdoors.  I'd appreciate it if you could keep the rain down your way though  image

  • Thanks Fairy and Runnybeak, doesn't stand too much close scrutiny I'm afraid. The tidy edges and bits under bushes will have to wait for now, I am sure the night before the big Open Day I'll be out until midnight. I haven't got any friends staying with me this year to distract me from the job in hand until after the big day and I have closed the B&B for that week-end too, last year I was making beds and cooking a three course dinner in the middle of it all. Live & learn, live & learn. image

Chicken fajitas for supper tonight, just whetting my appetite with a glass of red, the gym is closed tonight, such a shame, I'm gutted!image

Good evening to you all. image

DD, it's enough that my sunken garden is visible to walkers who look over the wall so I would be in a state of panic at having an open day! You will at least be able to relax afterwards with a perfect garden.

It's only the last week that's been warmer here Hosta. 16 at one point yesterday - pity I was at work.  8 degrees has been about the norm, often lower than that. Less windy  though, so it's better than the usual spring weather fortunately. image
