We've decided that Wonky and her Lovely Hub will keep their germs to themselves this weekend - I don't want to catch anything as it would be unfair of me to take 'flu to The Lovely Home when I visit Ma. Also Wonky and OH need to rest up so they're fit for work on Monday.
That means I may get a chance to do some potting on tomorrow - if the weather improves.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all , sorry I've not been around lately, been exhausted from work, people go crazy over Easter ordering medication so the work load trebles, plus we have been short staffed due to holidays , anyway enough moaning.
Hosta, I hope all goes well with your knee we will be thinking of you.
Verdun I like smilies too, in fact the was my name at school Smiler
Hello Flumpy moan all you like! We all do and then feel better!
Hosta, well done with the weight loss! Wow! That will help your knee recover, best of luck for Monday x
Morning Dove, think it the sensible thing not to contaminate your household and possibly Gma, but oh we were looking forward to your roast beef! enjoy your pottering!
Hazel, I have to confess to taking notes for my super long post just memory prompt words lol I'd been AWOL for a while and everyone is so lovely, didn't want to miss folks but I always do anyway!
First coffee of the morning, full of snot...me not the coffee, purple dressing gown as is tradition!
The young chap I support at work, gave me a massive tub of meal worms for my birthday! Told him I wasn't hungry right then but thanmk you! his father bought me a lovely bee friendly shrub with tiny blue flowers that I can't remember the name of right now his mother bought me a bottle of honey Jim Beam and my colleague bought me a bottle of honey brandy! worth going to work when your ill sometimes
Also another colleague has a horse so I've got myself a fresh muck contact!
Picnic at Alton water for work yesterday. A swan came to join us and fancied our quiche and oat and raison cookies...he was really quite insistent so we gave him some. Most of it! He took each piece to the water and soaked it before coming back for the rest! Obvious we would find crumbs in the bottom of his mugs, a dunker me thinks! anyway...this all happened on a carpet of daisy flowers so thought you might like to see!
Flumpy, I only dunk ginger nuts, can't do soggy as a texture I'm a support worker for adults with severe learning disability, 3 days a week I support a lovely young man and we have adventures, very horrid on the other two days but the times with him are very rewarding
Solent, sounds like you had a great night with your guests, hope the weather is good to you today, we have cloud and rain here

,I'm a dunker too, you sound like you work with nice people, what is your job? If you don't mind me asking
.
Wonky you have some great friends the honey brandy sounds very nice
just what you need just now.
The sun is beginning to come out here but showers forecast as they were yesterday but we had none.
Just about to get breakfast for my guests, bit late but we had a very late night / early morning
and a little to drink

Then if it stays dry I will put them to work in the garden
Have a good day all.
