It's a lovely sunny day here as Joyce said. Flumpy perhaps the Robin can see it's own reflection in the mirror or window and is trying to see off the intruder. We once had a chaffinch at the side window of the house who was spending so much time and energy trying to chase off it's rival that I had to shut the curtains.
Well done David for your quick reflexes. Shame about the fine though.
What lovely presents Wonky. Hope you and OH have a quick recovery.
Nice to have you back Lesley - hope you are now fighting fit
Just in from the garden. Did a bit of weeding and then sorted out ALL my plastic plant pots ......graded into sizes and colours .....you have no idea how satisfying that job was. Seems we will be getting warmer after the frost tonight, so I am now ready to prick out seedlings tomorrow. I am too stingy to write a label for every pot, so i try to plant things in matching pots so I can tell the difference ...ie black square, round orange, black with writing on the side ..... Its quite a system. Feel like the gardeing year is really motoring now
And Mr C is back driving again ....so we are returning to normal once more.
Thank you chicky and Snow. It's nice to be feeling much better and the infection has cleared up. Not quite fighting fit yet - rotten backache is stopping the urge to spend all my time in the garden. The other good news is that my foot is practically back to normal.
Really pleased to hear that Mr chicky is now driving again and that you can relax a little. Not easy though. You have made me want to sort my pots out now but I'll wait for the next sunny day and sit outside at the table and do it.
OH and I had a trip out today.... and I bought some new scaffolding
Meant to say I went to RHS Hyde Hall on Wed Very lovely show of spring bulbs, helibores, magnolias and camellias No pics taken though Biggest mission for me is to come back in the summer.... never seem to have managed that for some reason
