I have AZERTY too, like Obelixx.

Have finished the upper middle bed at last. A friend is coming tomorrow to help weed the long border, but forecast isn't good, rain. The moles are going rampant, OH is getting quite upset.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Evening all image Am half way through re-pinking my hair.... The roots have been done, just need to 'Panda' up and smear the pink on image

Also need to make my tea image OH is out and had some vile looking tinned meatballs with spaghetti for his tea image

Hosta, have you thought about pruning the conifers (removing bottom branches) to enable you to see the hulking, large, too big to move by yourself rock?

Busy - moles are a pain at this time of year.  Have you got a détaupeur?

I snuck out in the rain this pm to buy some plugs of veggies and some perennials in 4" pots cos they're on special offer this week.  First purchases of the year apart from a shrub about a month ago.  Leccy man coming tomorrow morning to fix a broken halogen spot circuit in our bedroom and another chap coming to assess the energy performance of the whole house and then I can garden all afternoon.   Looks like I'll need to be rugged up and water-proofed.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Evening all.  It sleeted and I got hardly any gardening done image - but did some housework instead.  image

Tomorrow I'll be in the NE visiting Mum.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Good morning all image

Sounds wet outside. OH is blinking. Hopefully he will soon go downstairs and make himself a cuppa and me a coffee image

  • Morning everyone

Out for most of the day, so unlikely to get any gardening done. I didn't sleep well, so I would undoubtedly be puny and useless, anyway.

    Morning Dove, Morning Keen

Wall to wall sunshine here, and cold but no frost.  Just been to unwrap my GH babies, who would have rather stayed tucked up til a bit later (obviously becoming teenagersimage) ......but needs must, and I must be on my way.

Tales of mountain moving (or NOT) and pink hair made me smile yesterday, whilst cowardly PM senders made meimage.  Some folks seem to make more use of PMs than they do open posts .....very strangeimage

Morning all. Should I be leaving left out if the asshats are not pm'ing me? Obviously they realise just how much damage I can cause with my superior spelling mistakes and firefighter boots to trample over freshly seeded lawns. Chicky; people are odd. Just remember when you receive one of this messages - I am here with 400 gallon of freezing cold water ready to lay siege to their green houses!! image

Gloriously sunny but COLD here. I had a brilliant time yesterday delivering a talk to a town womans guild (even if we did have a complete technical failure) so shall be spending today polishing a few bits up ready to use again... if anyone else will have me that is!!

Anyone for another mug of tea? I've discovered A2 milk; lacks a certain protein and is doing wonders for my stomach problems. TEA FOR EVERYONE!!

Morning Chicky, Keen, any I've missed and those yet to come.

The patches of brighter sky have disappeared and we have sleet. Today is not a gardening day.

It's Ma's birthday. We're visiting with flowers - the end is expected any day now. She is on a syringe driver for her pain and more or less asleep all of the time.

Great about the milk Clari, but coffee here please - can't face tea in the morning!
