It's going to be my sunny bed mainly for perennials/grasses etc and some small shrubs - there's a strong possibility of an amelanchier going in there too, and then some bigger shrubs towards the far corner, possibly mahonia - not sure about what else yet.
OH is enjoying the digging - there's a robin and a male chaffinch out there keeping him company
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I'm currently experiencing a lull in work. I have scrubbed the museum toilets, vacuum'd the top two floors, and keep hitting refresh on my emails to no joy.
I have never entered into any discussion about Crocus, other than to say , I like them, I use them, and as everyone knows, they don't grow their own plants.
Who has accused you of lying, certainly not me.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Quality of plants may not necessarily be the same from the same grower. Most of the Christmas puddings are made in the Matthew Walker factory near here. Harrods and marks and Spencer's are made to differing recipes to Tesco. B and Q may have smaller plants than crocus, grown by the same grower to different specifications.
Punkdoc, I would never think of you as retiring and submissive.
It's a nice day out there. Shame I'm stuck indoors at work

Lyn and Dove keeping you in my thoughts xxxx
Big hi to everyone else, enjoy this lovely weather! I went to work today without a coat!!! Roll OK n summer.x
I don't think that there has ever been any doubt, that Crocus buy their plants in.
I have no idea where they buy them in from.
I have usually been very happy with what I buy from them, and if not have always got replacements quickly.
I do buy from other on line nurseries as well, and they are often cheaper.
Glad you are feeling a bit better Hosta.
