Lyn, I'm trying to think what they have sent you. Is it KidNaps melatonin?

Midazolam, only gave 0.5mg or is that ml? But it's worked, inserted into the cheek, he went off to sleep instantly, I've just changed him and I don't think he even knew. Just me to sort out now, made a cuppa, have a catch up, as you doimage

Also having a cuppa Lyn. Glad your dad has been able to sleep. Hope you get a few more hours.

There's something about that middle of the night cuppa, tastes best

Went to sleep for a few hours, then woke up just after 2. Laid awake for the last couple of hours so have got up for a cuppa too. I expect you're asleep now Lyn. Hope you've been able to get some rest.

Hosta has your sleep pattern returned to normal now. Hope you're not in too much pain.

  • Morning, sat in the airport departure lounge with my coffee, my plants have passed all the checks so far, hope they are not suffering too much squashed into the case.

Very busy here for a small airport. Quite a few on beer and wine already, think I need my breakfast first!

Lyn & Hosta, hope you've both had a decent night's sleep.

Catch up later. Good day to all. image

    Good morning all image

Lyn, the midazolam should have given your father a restful night with no anxiety or bad dreams.  Hope you got plenty of sleep too.

It's a relatively mild morning - nearly 8C in the garden - the heating isn't on and OH seems not to have noticed - the sky's overcast tho'.

Midazolam is what he needed. I had to fight to get it for dad. It calmed him down, stopped him getting agitated and trying to pull out drips, and stopped mum getting so distressed. I hope you have both had a good night , Lynn.

I worked out why you thought it was a kids dose. The buccal form is used to stop an epileptic fit in children. Different use hence different dose.

I'm off to work now. I'll pop in at lunch time.
