Could you pop round here Runny & Bushman? Not in the garden yet - but approaching via the fields - it's like watching the approach of the cybermen - hill by stealthy hill
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Sun came out at lunchtime and it's been a lovely, but cold, afternoon. That's the final lot of narcissi about to open Fairy. A good season of daffs and narcissi from January. Crampons tomorrow?
Moles: so far mine keep to the one border along the fence from the woodland.
Mine too, Joyce. Got one molehill in the lawn but that's all - just removed the heap of soil & left them to get on with it. Fingers crossed they prefer the loose soil in the border to the compacted stuff under the lawn...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Morning all when you wake up. Well the rain that we have been promised for the last two days has still not arrived, but a quick trip outside shows there still might be a possibility. The photo didn't upload, so I'll fiddle with it and try again.
Good morning all G'day Pat That looks like rain on it's way right enough.
Beautiful blue skies and bright sunshine here
The plans for today are somewhat hazy but are likely to include food shopping at the farm shop (plus 'borrowing' an egg tray for gerbil playground), a trip to The Range to buy a big plastic box for keeping gerbil accoutrements in, sweeping up around the gerbil abode, peeling a carrot for gerbils and watching gerbils. Yes, gerbils are taking over our lives
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Sort of Joyce except i had a deerstalker instead of a flat cap and i didn't turn down my welly tops.
I am old school i learned to trap moles so if you need any advise Busy i'd be happy to help.
Yup Runny i think we could dent the population of moles.

Hi Dove. Rain hasn't eventuated yet.
Photos of before and after parsley drying today. Needed to get it done before the cold finishes them off.
Four trays done.
