  • That not good GWRS about the cauliflower, this is the first year they have not bolted and I got the plantlets from Homebase instead of growing own as I wutas too late, do you cut the strawberry runners off every year? mine have gone mad and I have let them put some into pots in the ground to move else where

Weeds are taking over my plot again so many to clear image

Gardengirl , yes cut strawberry runners off each year , when I planted the new bed last year I just dug up a number of plants from the old bed and replanted them

Tried putting runners in pots but they just dried up and died !image

Went to the plot to water.

I've loads of raspberries, they crept up on me. Picked lots of toms, cues and courgettes.

I cut the tops off some sunflowers a few weeks ago, abit like the Chelsea chop, and now have some multi headed sunflowers. A tad bit difficult to cut though as they must be 8 or 9ft high ?
