Our local  allotment society show is this weekend but I wont be entering as I have to take hubby to work, and then go and exercise the horse!

Courgettes and squash doing really well this year, we've got loads!! made a lovely Tai curry and coconut milk courgette soup last night, followed by Halloumi cheese and veg kebabs (all from the plot ), with a spicy rice and bean dish Yum!

I had almost forgotten I was given a Nigel Slater cook book thats got some lovely veg receipts in it, so will have a go at some of his ideas tonight. Might make some courgette pickle too.image

Scroggin it was what ever I had and some I wanted to enter, was wanting to enter gladioli but found out they take 100 days from planting to bloom so may be in 3 weeks time, I did not have an area dug before getting them in though, they will make nice cut flowers

    Timing not my thing either
