Scroggin. The variety is 'halloween', I bought it as a seedling, it"s orange on the label! Do you think the labels could have been switched at the nursery.. ?
I'm also growing Rouge Vif d"Etampes, that's growing yellow.
Baby bear though is growing green but orange on the packet.
Have you thought about getting an allotment giddy123...
Zoomer my pumkin is growing spotted another small one today, is it just when the pumkin ripens it goes orange
Giddy123 you are growing a good lot there
Been to the plot today lots more digging managed to fill the big ditch that was there to start with in - a bit to level ground, also done some strimming on the plot, found a slow worm and pretty caterpillar
On Friday at allotment did a lot of pallet moving different area lots of stringy weeds under bits of cardboard now cleared a bit, found 2 slow worms under that area - weed matting down and pallets back bit neater with clear plastic over, going to be the kitchen cupboards in shed - I hope
Tip trip yesterday few bits of garden waste from allotment
GWRS I wanted a bonfire but we had wet weather on Sunday, What do you do with your strawberries?
I stayed longer on Friday and did a complete different thing than I wanted to do - I was going for digging but ended up sorting out the pallets - all I was going to do was cover with better plastic but then looked at them they were touching ground as cardboard has bio- degraded
Harvested a cauliflower for dinner so nice with white sauce and some runner beans
