Hi all, just caught up with all your posts, been working in Cirencester, so not able to access this site till my broadband is sorted there.

Having a great year for squash and toms, will make chutney tonight as i have so many to get through. Got away with not getting blight on my outdoor tomatoes thank goodness, so will have tomatoes for some time this summer!

we have had some rain at last,

Shed sounds impressive GG, put up some pics when you can.

We have chickens on our site, I feed them all the slugs and snails I come across, so they cluck when they see me comingimage

Ginagibbs will add pics when bit more done still only bottom layer of shed covered with sheeting - hoping to do more tomorrow, looks like it will be a sunny day and less windy

GWRS on site here you are allowed 10 chickens that would be a lot of eggs and big cage, you have to have your coop and run inspected to give the go ahead -  how is you gate?

Snap for tomorrow GWRS allotment plot trip

    Hi all,

spent a good 4 hours at the plot yesterday, watering , weeding, harvesting, mowing etc so all up to scratch again! (was feeling guilty as I hav'ent been up much lately, garden and social life taken over a bit!!) Came home with 2 big bags of produce, we are living on courgettes and tomatoes still!

    have a lovely weekend image
