Gardengirl, sorry to hear toms had blight , how did you chick peas do ? Unfortunately ours was in a raised bed and have not done well due to lack of watering while we have been away , the way it goes !

Been to allotment and dug up main spuds ? , really good size but a  bit scabby

Some courgettes as big as marrows ?

Going to use green manure on 3 larger beds , will let you known how it goes

Did use clover once and it was a real problem

Everyone sounds busy, some good harvests, not sure if my 2nd earliest had blight or just died back naturally. They had flowered. I've taken all the foilage off, will dig them up later in the week.

Collected about 45 flag Stones off my brother yesterday. The guy on next plot helped, we used his van so he got enough for a shed base. Noticed today he is going to put it right up against the fence blocking all the light off some of my fruit bushes...?..not sure what to do about that...

I donated some slabs to the committee too, for a bar-b-cue area and kept about a dozen.

It"s a double doored shed, at least 6 by 6.

I've tried e-mailing the committee  but the mail keeps bouncing back. The plants will be in total shade, they already compete with a huge birch tree on the other side.

I'm sure he hasn't realised it will block the light.
