Went to Lidl did some shopping food and got some gardening tools - 2 hand spades, hand double hoe, hand rake, bypass cutters and I got a long handled cultivator which was well sticking out of the trolley looks really good quality may well stain the wooden handle and Korona strawberries 6pk, tools ready for my invisible shed

Also brought the bird house caravan for garden

Spotted Aldi website now shows the gardening stuff which will be in from the 10th March next week

Good day at the plot yesterday, got more horse and chicken muck dug in. Moved my gooseberry bushes as they were in a difficult to get to area (too close to a fence for weeding and harvesting,) I now have all my fruit bushes in  a neat row. Planted my garlic in modules as I missed planting them direct last year.

Indoor seedlings are coming on quickly some of my tomatoes and chillies are up already.image

Chinese man next door making good progress with his tidy up but he keeps chucking his weeds and unwanted stuff in the hedge!!image Will have to polish up my Mandarin and have a word!!!

Well I got a reply back - the new plot holder is also associated with another plot up my end and as long as I inform one of the site reps - so if seen on the plot - the site rep knows

So went to plot checked out things like the rake it is ok - don't need a new one - thought I would check cause of Lidl tool

As I know the toilets get locked up by the site rep - so managed to see the site rep and it was fine to take them back he was like it is not right great site rep, so went took them back they were under a pile of wood pallet collars it was cold and hail stones going on a bit

But they are back on my plot in-between the pallet pile much better

Ginagibbs-I like things on the plot in nice straight rows, fruit trees are in a row. Currant and gooseberry's are in a block of nine.

Enjoy Swindon GWRS. London is one of my favourite cities, never tire of going there. There always seems to be something different to do each trip.

    We had snow today!

Hoping to get to the plot Sunday morning.

I am hoping Aldi with still have more seed compost when I go back next week as Lidl store I went to had no compost of any sort

You take your chances with any compost bought. I haven't bought any MPC this year yet but will need some soon.

Wyevale will be doing a compost weekend on the 12th and 13th of March and if a garden club member you can get a pair of free gloves

On Saturday went to the celebration, people thought the station garden looked good, I got a white and blue balloon had train cake and got a glitter tattoo

Went to the Allotment shop today and got a free leaflet on growing potatoes and the country garden mag

Then went to go to the plot and there was a parked big lorry/truck (flat bed at back) right into the main bit of grass area way in for parking and I thought not seen that before - saw it from a bit further away

Then thought that must be the new neighbours so I did not want to go to the plot in the end as I took my wood back Friday rather have time there with out them for a bit first - my wood was under pallet collars hope they don't remember or forget about that soon

We went past on the road near they were having a massive bonfire so I would of been stunk out anyway - came home fed birds looked around garden put some of my seed trays in greenhouse as seeds germinated - I have 1 cleome coming up now and tomatoes gone that way
