GWRS How much were the potatoes?  shame about the shoot in gh

Went to the allotment looked around shop as open again from today so main gate will be open on the weekend mornings, the shop has some good notices saying how to use things which is helpful and now have loads of compost but still ordering the new stuff in and seeds by the look of it

Had a look around plot started to rain a bit moved puddle of plastic near shed, really need to do some weeding will do when not wet, soil was rather wet from rain all night,  in field next to allotments a burnt out car

Thick fog and drizzle all day here so didn't get to the plot.

Ozzy's gone very quiet, he's sitting on the stairs. He meowed all the way home in the car.

I find it easier to dig out weeds when the ground is wet, the long roots from docks and dandilions come up alot easier, Gg.

Are the prices reasonable in the lotti shop, Gg.

Zoomer44 prices not too bad in shop - did not buy anything today just got a cup of free tea and had a look around as they alway change things when shut for a bit, only issue with weeding when wet is your gloves and boots get so muddy

Meant to be foggy here tomorrow so maybe Homebase trip look at a storage box for all my trays and pots, there was a nice one on B&Q website just not from the near by shop

Finished compost area, barking path and dug over final bed. It had been covered for months and full of couch grass and weeds.

Can start on the GH base next weekend.

    Hello

Homebase have got fruit for £5 currants and raspberry canes which is good price, spotted nice container storage box may get another day

    GWRS good price on potatoes

Scroggin nice to get some hooks up in shed - have you a picture of your shed?

Zoomer44 you getting a gh?  sounds like a good lot of clearing

Think I need to do a lot at my allotment plot, think I may be thinking of getting in the structures like compost bins, sheds, fence up - my plot needs a lot of prep
