    Hi there,

Just got our first ever plot last week. Looking forward to reading  some more of the wisdom on this thread. Started with thread 1 but I am only up to page 10 so far. image

Anuwa, I´ve started clearing the rampant couch grass and preparing the ground for spring, one bed at a time. :) I´m looking for a little help/advice. There is a tree in the centre of the plot which I´d like to identify. I think it might be a pear tree.

Can anybody on here tell what it is? And is there anything I need to do now to help it along for next year´s growing season - pruning? mulching? etc...?

Many thanks in advance, and merry Christmas.
