Great picture GWRS plot looks good, pretty view through arch  - Autumn raspberrys not necessary need support as not so tall plants but does look good very neat  - GWRS are they the round poles with stalks on bottom?

    Gardengirl , answer yes

I did have one Autumn rasberry plant already and it grew rather big , so it will be interesting to see how tall they grow

Next big job is to move 2 compost bins , had to empty them as they had horse tail growing in them

    Filling in Diary as wellimage

GWRS not started diary yet not been to plot since getting it - not sure the water will be used for a bit on form - you will have to show a photo later on see how tall they do grow

Maybe on weekend I may go to plot

Got relatives coming for a few days so won’t have chance to get to plot until middle of next week , subject of course to weather , forcast not good for Febimage

  • There was a big car crash friday night just after 12 at night up our road really lould noise - lucky the car did not crash into our cars, we went out to look and car was smoking and upside down,  the man must of been driving far too fast to crash into parked cars

Went to allotment picked up my potato order for plot from the shop

Did a bit of pallet breaking up to use on the compost bin, fed birds - noticed bark chipping had been delivered so bagged up some and put on top of other bark path - off my plot good half covered in new bark

So have now started my diary

Very cold windy weather today nice when sun was out

Think we spotted a new allotment holder on a plot not too far as not seen him before did not know the other plot holder was giving up, when we were collecting the bark chipping he stoped in his car and asked is that was free -  we said yes

Think I need to print out my notice again for new plot holders as you don't know things when you start out   - I try and be helpful

Hello , hope driver of car was ok

Bark chipping not had any delivered so far to allotment site , I bet the site Agent has upset the Tree Surgeons agian

However have decided to shred the prunings at home and use on paths at Allotment rather than burn

Have been going through what seeds I have from last year , just need to buy parsnip & turnips

  • GWRS - no idea if driver OK, taken away by ambulance.  Think he was not too bad as he got out of the car .

This is the first lot of bark chippings from the council this year since they have had their own chipper.  Managed to do other half of pathway today.

  • Would like to have gone to the plot yesterday, could not find keys anywhere, wasted so much time looking so gave up and did some work in the garden instead. This morning I remembered the last time I shut the gates at the plot I picked up a load of litter and threw it in our bin at home, sure enough, there were my keys, in the binimage!!

Polytunnel now has a new cover as the old one was falling apart and my greenhouse has new glass, so all set to go for seed sowing soonimage
