Thanks in advance for the seeds, Gg

We have at least three 'working party' days when jobs around the site are done be plot holders. Everyone is expected to attend at least two or if anyone sees something which needs doing, let the committee know and do it, in that way you can be exempt from the 'working party' days.

We usually have a communal bonfire that day so plot holders can burn waste and we get a skip at least once a year.

  • That sound good, we don't seem to have any thing so many areas like where the main pile of bark goes that just have rubbish in and could do with a clear up and brambles that need cutting back as can't use the road the car gets scratched

think I remember GWRS saying something

Hello , we have had general tidy up days on the site , mainly the boundary Hedges

The committee ask for volunteers , I don't mind helping out and there are one or two of us that just do the odd job that we see needs doing e.g.  a few weeks ago I just cut the hawthorn hegde by one of the gates as it was  getting difficult to use

The farmer has his own private tip so at the moment you can put any  rubbish in the car park and it will eventually be cleared

Hoping it won't be raining tomorrow as would like to go to plot , getting withdrawal symptoms!image

Gg.Received seeds today. Excellent instructions, thank's.

What a good harvest, GWRS. Slugs have nibbled my chard and leeks aren't very thick. Kale is looking good though and I'm hoping for early broccoli in the spring.

I've wet and dry weather jobs to do, so hoping to go to plot tomorrow.

Don't be surprised if the planks warp or bow if you dry them too quickly.

  • wood still looks ok but still wet, some are drier which were up stairs, half radiator works needs de slushing so not extremely hot

On Friday at the Woolston garden project got another raised bed made and filled
