Late pop in to say hello. All those pancakes sound delish - I love them but don't often make them - all the sugar or syrup I put on them is definitely not what my hips need.
Can also vouch for the black pudding scotch eggs. I try not to eat too much junk and processed food but scotch eggs are my one weakness (along with cheese, chocolate, pasta, bread, cream, gin ....)
Glad to hear you're getting sorted BL & I dont blame DD for not going to running club - it's supposed to be for fun after all.
Hope all on holiday / going on holiday have a great time. I could be envious if I thought about it
Glad Clari's sorted out for now but it doesn't bode well for next pay day. Hope I'm wrong.
Off to bed now - night night
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
This weather has been a bit random so far. Half the bushes in the garden have started budding before the Hellebores have flowered and the Crocuses and some of the Alliums are shooting before the Snowdrops have opened. It's the end of days, I tells ya.
Pretty much the same. It rains every time I leave the house, though to be fair I do live on the coast of eastern scotland. I now have an open top cold frame. Sweet Peas don't seem to appreciate this for some reason.
Dove. There is a program here called Insight. It's screened on Channel SBS. They have just advertised an upcoming episode and it had that photo of your cousins sheltering under the wharf. It was too quick to get all the details, but I'll keep an eye out for when it's going to be on, Your cousin might know more about it. I'll keep you informed in case you can find it on line.
Re my Tasmanian cousins ... my aunt tells me that there's going to be a tv programme about how they and the community of Dunalley have rebuilt their lives following the devastation of the bush fire. Don't know when tho'.
Yesterday was chilly, the temperature didn't get above 7.9C all day - the low overnight was 4.1C in my sheltered back garden.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Oh my this having money is such fun!! I have already splashed out on £80 of fuel, a lemon AND some ice cream.
Only trouble was... I had to ask my partner for my pin number its been so long since I used it
Jimmy my garden is most confused with the weather. I'm a little concerned that all the bulbs on the left of my pots are coming up... but not the right sides. They're not even big pots!

How is everyone?
Hi Jimmy.
Fed up with the endless wind and rain is how I am.
How about you?
Morning Hosta,
Pretty much the same. It rains every time I leave the house, though to be fair I do live on the coast of eastern scotland. I now have an open top cold frame. Sweet Peas don't seem to appreciate this for some reason.
Other than that, it's all peachy.
