Spanakopita is one of my favourites too Dove - not so keen on the figs - if I bring a box of baklava as an alternative can I pop round later?image Sounds like a fun evening - enjoy image

Hope you've got your thermals on Fairy - look forward to seeing some photies later - getting itchy feet to see some hills now image

Morning all to everyone else. Sunny but chilly here. Am planning a few hours gardening today followed by a nice hot bath. Might wait an hour or so for it to warm up though - time for some more tea I think - SYL image

Morning all, grey outside but don't know if it's cold as I haven't ventured out yet.  Hope I can get some time in the garden later. Not got anything planned today apart from lunch with secondborn.  Hope everyone has a good weekend.

    Good morning all, hi Patimage

I'm late today as I've been doing a bit of on-line research into transit wheelchairs.  I've ordered one to take my Mum out in when I go down next weekend as she can't walk more than a few yards.  Her hobby is looking round shops so I'll be in for a fun timeimage

It's a beautiful sunny morning even though it's bitterly cold.  Look forward to Fairy's pics later.  Like you Topbird I'm waiting for the sun to warm things up a bit before I venture out.

Flumpy image for your sweet peaimage

Immi looks very relaxed there Patimage

Your meal sounds delicious Dove.  Have a lovely catch-upimage.

    Morning all, afternoon Pat,

Been AWOL for a few days, too much to do too little time. Exciting to see seedlings, I haven't even had time to get round to buying seeds yet! !image after needing back I have to conclude that we all sound happier at the weekends! So I hereby propose that we ban weeks and just have weekends! They are probably already rolling out this on a trial basis at G'ma's lovely nursing home, right Dove?! image

Hope your mum enjoys having the wheelchair Lesley image I often have to take people of various weights and in wheelchairs for work. You will start cursing drivers that park on drop curbs and people that don't bring their bins in! But it will help you and mum to keep doing the things that make her happy image

I warned you Dove that I'd move back in if you keep this menu dangling up! image

Flumpy, I know how you feel about the job! I'm afraid I feel the same....time for a change! We will just have to make the most of the weekends for now! image

Enjoy the walk Fairy, its quite mild here, hope its not too bitter where you are!

Well, from someone who doesn't go out at all, I've now been informed that I'm going out tonight and tomorrow night!  image apparently Hubby has two gigs!?! So I have to go in town and rummage for a handbag that contains my c***p but that is small enough to not need to put it down, with a long strap so I can just forget about it....time for a charity shop rummage! The blue tits are also informing me that I'm low on peanuts! At least i have mothers day sorted, Dove image

Hate to say it but it looks like I have to go in town! image after a few more coffees!
