I expect you've seen this site, Lesley. http://www.careco.co.uk/cat-wc02/transit-wheelchairs.htm My mother had quite big wheels on hers, found it easier to push over bumps that her previous small wheeled one. Don't forget to go backwards if you have to go over a step like a pavement kerb. Have a lovely time with Mum.
Have a good day at Wisley, Chicky.
I hope you find the right handbag, Wonky.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hi everyone, Shopping trip with secondborn has had to be cancelled as I have another cold and dont want to pass it on to her. Her partner and future father in law are getting stuck into renovations at the house. I have been out in the garden transplanting some pink forget me nots and ivory wallflowers into pots as underplanting for tulips and daffs. Never tried this before so hope it looks good. Also did some weeding and glysophated the dreaded jap anemones yet again.
Hope you find an appropriate handbag quickly Wonky so you can get back to the garden. Enjoy your evenings out this weekend.
Thanks for the link Lizzie. The one I've ordered has good reviews for being easy to fold, lightweight for getting in and out of the car and is said to be comfortable. We'll only be going round shopping centres and, hopefull, garden centres
Hope you found a handbag Wonky. Enjoy your weekend.
Yvie what a shame to get another cold. Your planting scheme sounds lovely and I'm sure it will be a success. I've just been to Aldi and bought three erysimum Bowles mauve and a pink foxglove. I only went for perlite.
Rb I'm so pleased that your son sounded chirpy on the 'phone.
Hi all I've had a text from Wonky asking me to let you know that she's found a lovely Gigi handbag She would have told you herself but her tablet appears to have acquired a virus She's sure her lovely hub will be able to fix it, but she's not going to ask him until after he's done both his gigs as he's busy with whatever it is that DJs have to do these days
She sends ((hugs)) to all
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Waiting for photos to upload - taking forever - but I had a totally smashingy, smashing day and the views even stunned me. I will share a few when they eventually appear
RB - glad son is improving - meant to ask after him the other day
Lesley - I'm glad I never had to do the wheelchair thing with either of my parents. Very difficult. On the plus side, you'll have arms like Popeye in six months time
Plenty of snow for Yvie's little grandchildren today, but I'm really disappointed as I did a snow angel/fairy and I don't think I pressed the button - so no pic
I'm a hopeless old mare
But I did do this.....
I came off part of the hill the quick way - known as the 'bum slide' (technical term) There's a lot of rabbits on that hill so the trousers aren't very fragrant....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
