That double orange and yellow tulip is beautiful , Marion. Do you know what it is called?

I love the contrast between your peachy-leaved heuchera (is it 'Sweet Tea'?) and the bluebells... might borrow that idea, thanks Marion!  image

Liriodendron it is Marmalade but Sweet tea would look good too.  Fidgetbones I may be able to find the name of that tulip but i bought it some years ago and it has dwindled from 25 bulbs to 8 but still a beauty.  i will look back on my records.

Fidgetbones it may be Orange Angelique as I planted the pink and the orange one.  The pink have all disapppeared but one but can recommend the orange .  lovely scent too and very long lasting.  The colour deepens as it ages.

I am a real fan of the photos you post of your colourful garden Marion. I am really admiring your hellebore and the stunning heuchera today. I nearly bought a heuchera called ' Cherry Cola' last weekend from the GC but talked myself out of it, and bought another agapanthus ( Black Budda) instead.

Thanks Marion, I will look out for it. I have had angelique in the past. The heavy sleet/snow/hail that we have had in the last couple of days has broken down most of my double daffs .

Another very sunny but cold morning.  Neighbour two doors up is having her "Garden party from 10.30 which raises money for the Bristol newspaper for the blind today so I need to go to the shops for money to spend on lunch and craftwork,  Too cold to eat outside so it will be mostly in her house.  The wind last night has blown over a few pots of tulips but nothing broken as far as I can see so they must all be toughies those tulips.and daffodils still flowering.

Well, it looks like a Christmas card this morning... snowing fit to bust.  No gardening today I think.
