It will be a very colourful spring in your garden Marion, with so many tulips.

My six pots of tulips is paltry in comparison but they go on the patio with pots of primroses, Narcissus Thalia,  pots of Tete-a-Tete  and an azalea as well as the pots of permanent planting.

It's another beautiful day here too.

I wonder if we will have a colourful autumn like we had in 2011.  Picture taken in Bristol Botanic Garden.

I really must buy myself some black rustproof paint for the wrought ironwork I have uncovered on the terrace.

Dull and very dark in Bristol this morning but not in my conservatory where the Pelargonium "Fire Queen" and Begonia "Safari" are putting on a great show.imageimageimage

"Fire Queen"  certainly lives up the name.  It's beautiful.

Cold and grey here, Marion, but I hope it will brighten up later.

Another dark dull morning but forecast is more sun than yesterday for Bristol.  Still it is good weather for heavy work .  i got the green wheeliebin filled up again yesterday and am beginning to see daylight in the mountains of prunings.  Just have to keep on keeping on.  The garden is crying out for rain and neighbours lawns are looking yellow.  I have no lawns so do not have that worry.

Marion, I have decided that I need to water my multitude of pots today as there is no forecast for rain in the next few days. Most of the pots have permanent planting although some with bedding are not ready to empty yet.

Me too Joyce.  I will just water the ones that show signs of wilting but they will get a good soak as therei is no sign of rain in the immediate future.
