I have just had a very good two hours in the garden while the cleaner was here.  She kept an eye on OH which was great.

    Much warmer now than earlier.

Cold again this morning but still bright and dry.  I should be all right out in the garden in my gardening coat and warm socks!  I can see the path at the bottom of one of the mountains of prunings so hopefully will reach it today and be able to get through to that part of the garden again.  I expect there will be a lot i want to photograph as it has not been visited lately.

Oh my goodness it was so beautiful up my garden in the brilliant sunshine I just had to take my camera.  The smells were delicious in the warmth of the sun, especially the wallflowers  and Sweet William which are flowering again.

Slightly warmer this morning and a dry sunny day forecast, but as I am giving a lecture this afternoon  I will skip the gardening this morning.  Forecast is for rain at the weekend at last.  I have about thirty pkts of freebie annual seeds I want to sow up in the potager but need rain to moisten the ground first.

I think my lecture went down well.  at least i did not see anyone yawning!  Back to work in the garden again tomorrow.  We had a few very light showers of rain this afternoon but not enough to water the plants.  Lots of big black clouds but the East wind is blowing them over us to empty themselves further West.

Marion, I'm sure your lecture would have been very interesting.

Lovely pics from yesterday. . . still lots of colour.

Quite cold today but I was taken out for lunch so haven't been in garden, apart from filling bird feeder.

Another dry if cold day today and we have had no rain to speak of for ages .  Forecast for next few days is warmer and still dry so I think I will have to be doing some watering.  Going to see "Brief Encounter" the musical today so looking forward to that.
