Been for health check.  The nurse said my GP will ring me when the results are back from the hospital in a few days.  Lovely weather so will be out there after a quick lunch,

Not sunny this morning but dry and  degrees already.  Forecast says sun may break through about eleven and ten degrees expected today which bodes well for more work done outside.

My conservatory is a joy this morning, full of colour, pattern and scents.

The garden is just ablaze with flowers and the sunshine and warmth are bringing out the insects.

Lovely to find a bumble bee (I think it's a tree bumblebee - orange thorax - they nested in my leaf mould last summer!) resting on a crocus flower in the sun today.  Spring has sprung!  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Ho Marion you've got some lovely flowers there, what's the yellow/orange ones called they look so nice : ).

For a change the weather has been lovely here, I hope it is next week as I've got a week off : )

That flower with the four heads on is a primula.  I have them in all colours - yellow, orange, red, pink, blue and purple and mixtures.  They started as tiny plugs that cost me 2p each back in October!  I think that is the one you meant flumpy.  I really should take the time to at least name my pictures!

Have a nice day in Lincoln GWRS.  I lived in Hull for two years but found that part of the country very cold.  We have another very fine day forecast.  I have a Friends of the Bristol Univ. Botanic Garden AGM tonight and talk on Wild Flowers of Western Europe and have to go shopping for food for tomorrow when I have a dinner guest so not so much will be done in the garden today, though my onion sets arrived yesterday so want to get them planted.Lovely sunshine now and it is getting stronger as UV has gone up  Soon need my sun hat!
