Dull this morning and we have had some rain through the night but it may stay dry enough to get some prunings chopped up.  I shall miss dashing in to catch a medal chance for Team GB at the Olympics but the garden will benefit! No wind now so only had to deadhead in the front garden this morning as the drive was free of fallen leaves and nothing needed watering.  I have concluded that the garden must have been judged without a card put through the door as it is nearly autumn now!

I have done a good deal of chopping up this morning but it is my neighbour's birthday tomorrow so must go to the shops for a nice birthday card.  Tomorrow is forecast to get very warm so must do as much as I can today.

Seldom do Iimage wax lyrical over potatoes but I just dug up a haulm of my maincrop for supper tonight and just look at them!

It is going to be too warm to work outside by noon so will have to get out quickly to do some more chopping up of my prunings.  Deadheading done and a few leaves picked up.  Glorious morning.  My fuchsias are getting covered in their huge blooms.  This is the forerunner of fifteen all at different stages so i have a succession of blooms throughout the winter - all from plugs.image

Good morning , yes lovely sunny day going up to allotment shortly

If fuchsais is number 1 , just wondered what the other fourteen are ? Just being nosy really

Have a good and enjoy the sunshine image

The other fourteen have been stopped to varying degrees (tips pinched out, and debudded). No 1 was not but given its head so I could see the flowers.  Hoping to have them flowering right through the winter in the conservatory.  Not nosy at all.GWRS - good to know you are interested in my unorthodox gardening, brought on i may say by my age related need to garden more indoors when the weather is inclement.
