The bulbs in the centre of Bristol are way ahead as well as here on the outskirts.  My friend has just sent me pics of some of his in his tiny garden.

Brrr it is cold this morning.  Everything covered in white frost and still only zero degrees but the sun is shining brightly so may get out about noon.

You too GWRS.  I will be venturing forth shortly as the sun is shining strongly and all frost disappeared.  I have just ordered nine  large bags of compost and organic horse manure so I will be ready to start planting up my summer bulbs soon.and start sowing.

Brilliant sunshine here flumpy and it was very melodious up my garden this morning, not only me and the birds singing but the builder is putting the roof on my neighbour's garage.  It is making such a lovely warm corner up there as it is stopping the East wind and the soil is slightly acid so i will be able to plant some special plants there.  some research needed.  My small white alliums are beginning to flower and the wallflowers.  Green wheeliebin nearly full up.

The sun is making the lovely spring colours in the garden even lovelier today.
