What a lovely picture,GWRS.  Yes all is well.  I am reveling in the coverage of the Olympics.  My father was a footballer.  I played hockey and cricket and swam and ran.  Three of my sons ran marathons and my youngest daughter rows so I have lots of interest in watching sport.

We had a bit of rain in the night so no watering needed this morning.  But a bit damp for pruning.  I shall deadhead from the paths and keep dry.

Another fine Monday morning and no rain in the night so garden is dry enough for me to do some pruning.  I have finished a large buckthorn and nearly finished an even larger contorted hazel.  I should have finished the field of Troy by the end of the month.  Busy week as it is my birthday on Thursday.  i have already had emails from my friend who is visiting on the day and from four of the family coming on Friday.  The weekend will be my special treat.  Perhaps the garden will be judged this week too.

They are such an intense blue, Marion.

I didn't get round to sowing them or black-eyed Susan this year.
