I'm off on holiday tomorrow for a fortnight and a bit (to Madeira, which is always full of flowers). I wonder what change I'll find in the garden when I get back... the first daffs are just opening now, so hopefully there will be a lot more by the end of the month.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
We're back on 28th Feb, Flumpy. Long enough to notice we're on holiday... I'm bound to take lots of photos, cos I can't help myself, even though we've been many times. I remember on our first visit, taking a photo of my hubby standing in front of a mammoth Poinsettia in the botanic gardens - it must have been 12ft high, and covered in bracts. There's always something interesting in flower whenever we go.

Saw the island last week on the Evolution of Islands series. Looks lovely. And it will be warm! Hopefully no wind either. Have a wonderful holiday, Liriodendron.
Morning Marion, hope you are well , it's blue sky in the NW here but VERY cold, it's forecast dry for the next few days so I can at least do things in the garden, I want to go to the garden centre today and inject some colour into our garden .
hope you enjoyed your pancakes yesterday, I had three big pancakes

Ho Liriodendron, I hope you take plenty of photos, I hope the weather is kind to you, how long are you going for?

If you go through the tunnel to the other side you will find plants descended from the ones that grew when the dinosaurs were around, Liriodendron.
Is that the Dragon Trees, Marion? Wonderful things.
Thanks, Flumpy!
