Thanks Marion I will try and get him to try it, I know he's fed up of coughing.

What are you upto today Marion ?

The ground is frozen hard in the garden but I might do some tidying up as the frost will be toppling the stems of last year's flowers now.  The sun is shining and the birds ar hungry so I took them some scraps and will take out some hot water soon as all the bird baths are frozen.  Took a few pictures but too cold on the hands to be out for long.

Marion. Glad to hear you've got your "ears" back. How do you find the sound from the TV with them? My Mum says it sounds tinny. Her hearing clinic man advised her to get some speakers so we connected the TV to her hifi but she can't grasp the idea of changing the hifi from radio to TV mode so has given up. She doesn't use her hearing aid and turns TV VERY LOUD!image

Oh dear I hope her TV room is soundproof for the neighbour's sake!   I have not found any tinnyness on the TV or Radio or my laptop.  Only place I notice a difference is where there is running water like in the toilet!

Just had new list of plants for sale from Secret Gardening Club and ordered 3 plants of Sedum telephium and 3 of Erigeron karvinskianus - six perennials for £6,83, P&P free.  Cannot be beaten.  Will be with me in a few days via Royal Mail.

Yes it is TY GWRS,  I have enjoyed some TV tonight.  There may even be snow in Bristol this weekend so I plan to go to the shops tomorrow.

Dry and bright this morning but cold.  I must get to the shops today as the weather is set to get even colder tomorrow.  The green wheelie bin has been emptied so that is a temptation to start filling it up again.  Still a lot of tidying to do.
