Ho Marion them flowers look lovely, gorgeous colours, it's a shame about your tree, let your sons move that, what type of tree was it?

An elder flumpy.  I have several more so OK for flowers and berries   I have cleared the extraneous greenery, mostly honeysuckle and ivy from the hedge so it looks easier to move but two hefty sons can do that bit.  I am feeling really pleased with my output today - lilies potted just as Monty did last night on the telly and also my new  phlox plant called "David" which came in the same present as the lilies.  Quite a few hundred or so young nettles pulled up too.  Say hello to my first wood anemone to flower and you can see what brilliant sunshine we had today by the way my tulips opened up hoping to be pollinated.

$ degrees this morning and sun out. Forecst is for a WEEK of settled weather.  No rain in it as well.  That has started me singing.  I do have to go to the shops for milk ,it being Sunday and visitors are usual but hope to get a lot of gardening in too.

What a lovely lovely sunny warm day we are blessed with in bristol today!

I have bluebells out already image just a shame they're the ones behind my recycling bins haha. We did have a single daffodil in the front garden last weekend under the magnolia tree but someone pinched it! image

I was at the allotment today clearing around the gooseberries and found a blade of grass playing host to 6 or 7 seven-spot ladybirds! I didn't continue clearing as it was obviously where they've chosen to overwinter and I didn't want to disturb them, but it was nice to see them there like that image
