Hi, Caral, if you can put the shed on rollers, round fence posts are ideal., you'll find the shed alot easier to move. I moved a garden shed after lifting it onto fence posts  with a giant crow bar.

I'd have been angry Fruitcake and I'm not sure I'd like to share a shed.

I've been sowing more seeds. Running out of plastic propogator covers now not to mention space in the back bedroom so sweetcorn is on damp kitchen roll and germinating on the radiator .

Gardengirl , no when got up it was throwing it down so decided to do some paper work for a meeting next week , by 3-30 nearly brain dead so as it was sunny but a cold wind did a bit of tidying up in the garden , also planted 2 potatoe sacks for the local village show image

    hopefully tomorrowimage

    GWRS Still unsure

GWRS village sound good I entered a show last year for the first time and did do well not with potatoes though as they had scab so no entry for them will try with just rain water this year

Zoomer44 glad you got more seed sowing done

Thank you folks for putting up with my mini rant. She annoyed me by deliberately saying it loudly so I could hear her but not saying anything directly to me.

Her friend cut everything and pulled up everything else. I guess she had a "non cultivation" letter or something. I don't know. But I do know that I won't be rushing to sort her a key out. She'll have to wait. Probably until we gave sourced another shed for ourselves as we don't trust her to leave our stuff alone. She's so far come across as a female "wide boy". She is totally clueless about anything allotmenty so god knows why she's even there. If I didn't already have the other plot then yes, I'd take hers over so I could have my damp 7ft x 4ft shed all to myself *evil cackle*

Thanks Zoomer and Gardengirl for advice on how to move the shed. My hubby had a look and said there is no way of rollering it, without going directly over others' gardens (plots). And to lift would be a nightmare because its such a huge and heavy shed .

Anyhow the upshot is, hubby said he will get me a nice new small shed as my plot is only 75 msq, and to have a great big looming shed seemed a tad OTT. And he said he will build a patio area for it to go on first.

Yay! so win,win for me. image

Fruitcake you would have to be careful to give her a key just in case she gets chucked off then she would have a key to all your stuff

Caral did wonder about plants if rolled the shed,  that is brilliant of your hubby you could use pallets as the base - you can get them free if you look around, where abouts are you?

Gardengirl best way to grow potatoes for show with no scab is in Potatoe sacks or large pots and bought compost , at moment in G/H until weather improves image

Caral , new shed , patio don't forget sun umbrella image

Pallets for the base! What a cracking idea Gardengirl! Just told my hubby and he says "Thank You! that's genius!"  I'm near the Forest, Gloucestershire. I think I will put a 'wanted' post on freecycle. image

GWRS, sun umbrella is a must...to go in the cocktails. image

Caral I am in Hampshire we are both in shire places - glad you liked the idea of pallets that is what I would use, I make lots of bits out of pallets and so do others  http://www.gardenersworld.com/forum/talkback/pallets/249488-11.html
