Can I ask- for those of you without cars or vehicle access to your plots- what do you use for getting heavy stuff to and from your plots/homes?

I'm thinking of getting an old pram for this very thing and wondered what you all thought?

I've got one of those and it's quite cumbersome and storage is at a premium image

we were looking at more practical for a 10 minute walk each way- easier for pushing too- with a wheelbarrow you have to use both arms, you have no choice but with a pram it's easier to move around with one arm if necessary

How about a bike and little trailer like Katie's

Fruitcake a pram would do the trick but I would make it not look like a pram

How about something like this from Google search

The only thing I have is the black and yellow trolley below one of those fold up ones

    thanks ladies image

im not very good on a bike image mine has been in the shed for 18 months imageimage

i like the top pic gardengirl but the bottom one I would find a bit too flimsy maybe- I've used them before for other things and have had to replace them fairly quickly

a full on pram is nuts, I know that but I'm trying to think practically- the new plot where the chickens are going doesn't have vehicle access for the heavy stuff and around here, a pram would "blend in" better- even if it is full of chicken feed or potatoes or plants or compost
