I think they might have done GG, I put them in the greenhouse last weekend. Ah well, I'll just have to sow more image

Gardengirl not long now imageimage I hope you don't have too much longer to wait

strange things seen today at my plot- one of my PSB plants had fallen over so I stuck a bamboo cane in to hold it up, and a very black, stiff frog shaped item on one of my beds image

Still light when I got home so checked on garlic and onions in the GH, gave them a good water but me thinks they are heading for the GH in the sky image Sowed some more toms.

Also stopped off at a hardware store on the way home to see if they sold azada's, the guy hadn't heard of them but he was ever so helpful and checked his catalogue... none in there either but he'll  replace the handles on an old fork and a hay fork for £5 each which I thought was a good deal.

    Fruitcake-Checked Amazon out...image...they are doing free delivery...image.

A guy on the allotment, had a new one last weekend, bought in a Manchester hardware store on his way home. He called it a 'land hoe' but it looked like an azada, ever so tempted...

    Hello image

Haven't been to the plot this week but hoping to get there tomorrow afternoon and finish one of the beds. I said to hubby about the fruit trees and he did wonder if he had planted them too close, so he said he will move them a bit.

Some pumpkin, toms and sweet peas have come through.

How should I prepare the runner bean and pea bed?

Fruitcake your chicken run looks great! Thats fab news GardenGirl! Bet you can't wait.

Stagbeetle my sweet peas have come up too, trying to sort out the veg garden beds, I am digging and adding manure to the pea and bean beds, I am excited

Been pricking out flower seedlings today my GH is filling up

Q as the council said they send out a letter when there is a plot free,  Did those of you that got a letter get the plot number on it?

Re; Azada, can feel a spend coming on, GH glass is also the priority this month though...image

Stagbeetle - I've 7 fruit tree's on semi dwarfing root stock, it's a big plot so there was plenty of room to plant fruit tree's about 5-6 ft apart in two rows, you need to think about how big they'll grow when mature and space accordingly.

Sowed some pea's tonight on damp kitchen roll.

Gg - New plot holders get an e-mail saying when to go to the allotments to choose their plot but we aren't council run.
