We have the extreme wind weather today - think you would be blown away on an allotment plot today everything blowing over in garden
Jo47 will be checking next time I go for the long handled cultivator - but not sure if I have missed out as In-excess is a shop that gets left over stock and sells it off cheaper
Jo47 not good the weather - where abouts you live? stuff in store is good for a reasonable price
GWRS glad you got to Swindon nice place
Been out getting free wood today as nice sunny day spending lots of time with a hammer getting the nails out going to kept them may use them - got some good fence post few long planks for the shed
Lots of bits to make planters for when the new bit of station garden is started
Went to the allotment to put some bits of wood there and it started raining check things out not too much that has been moved from the windy weather
Hope you've all had a nice Christmas time - and I especially hope that those affected by floods have managed to salvage done sort of Christmas too
we ate homegrown sprouts with our Christmas dinner, The first time I've ever eaten them! I'll be growing lots more next year that's for sure
i am itching to get the growing started! Reckon within the next week or so I'll have got chillies on the go - start them off in the propagator then they can stay indoors until it's time to go in the greenhouse. I might get some broad beans and garlic started too - might as well take advantage of the mild weather while I can
It hasn't rained here for two days so we managed to get to one of the allotments today to relocate the rhubarb and prune the autumn raspberries down. Tomorrow is expected to be a dry sunny day too so I'm hoping to get to the other allotment for some tidying up and hopefully a bit of digging over maybe.
I have a list in my head of what's going where next year but I need to get it down on paper coz I'll only forget otherwise lol
Still to plant my broad beans still in pots, have to clear the area think lots of weeds mainly couch grass coming up where shed going so lots of digging to go
Got lots of my free wood put down garden need to get a saw to cut wood to make it into a planter for new station project,
Went to In-excess garden centre one today and got a new border fork, they had lots of daffodils in flower in pots - had a free cup of tea as well

We've had two days without rain, not a cloud insight yesterday
The back garden is a mass of puddles and basement is taking in water each time it rains depending which way the wind is blowing, mopping up daily.
I'm expecting guests tomorrow for the New Year, so had a clean and went to the tip. Called at the plot to collect some bagged up weeds.
I' ve made a winter jobs 'to do' list and planting plan for 2016.
