Hello , spent the day at the Allotment but with other plot holders doing a winter tidy up , we are surrounded by hedges so needs a trim every so often . We got some free trees from the Woodland Trust so did a bit of tidying up around them plus a few other jobs

Fruitcake thanks for managing to put photos on - that looks a great plot I see you have compost bins and canes even a table

Definitely looks as though it has been kept well, just a bit of clearing for you to do

That is a nice challenge for you to tackle

Thinking about it I should have put a picture of hedges , will try and remember to take IPad next time I go up

Frutcake , it will be surprising what you may find

always exciting to start a new project like an allottmentimage

GWRS looks like you had a good day and a bbq  I planted lots of small (whips) trees where I volunteer last year and more to do next month

Do you have an area for the community? like a plot

Gardengirl , the barbe was in the car park , we have a small community shed 8x6 mainly for storing hose pipes and an area for horse manure

in the car park we have bark Chipping's delivered and we have a pile of hard core , useful for road ways , although I have used it for putting fence posts in

yes it was a good day , still lots to do on the plot , bought some broad beans an peas on Saturday , hopefully will get them in before Holidays on Thursday image

Love your community BBQ GWRS. I was one of 3 on ours yesterday, so it was very quiet. I took some photos so will post them in a bit, when I have 10 mins spareimage

Ginagibbs Like that they do a notice board for tips for the month looks good - does not enlarge so can't read them

Your tool shed looks so neat well organised and dogs look like they are enjoying the shed, looks like you are doing well on the plot keeping it looking full of veg and with some nice flowers

I see you got your bark chipping down

good having a quiet plot so you could get on with what you needed

Wish the shed was bigger so that I could sit in there with the dogs if it rains and have a cup of teaimage
