@Red maple was the sensible one today. I have just finished retrieving the damp cloth things because the rain came back. As you say Hazel, they have been out for a blow in the fresh air and they do smell nice. They were not far off being dry. Thanks for the heads up too, I hadn't heard about that storm. Hey ho.

I had a charming flock of 10 longtailed tits entertaining me outside my front window earlier. Luckily Cricket was on sentry duty in the dining room so for 10 minutes I was enthralled. They are such delightful little birds. I'm willing to bet they won't show up when I am doing my Big Garden Bird Watch later this month!

Hello all. See I didn't post this morning. I read my book in bed this morning with my coffee so I must have been too engrossed!

The wind woke me up a few times in the night but there doesn't seem to be any damage.

What a lovely photo of Cricket!

I have an eye infection so OH drove me to the pharmacy for some drops.

Hello there Busy. I hope that the drops work and clear the infection from your eye. I wonder where you picked that up from.

I am signing out for today people. Quiz league doesn't start until February the 5th so I'll have a go at the TV quizzes and then its Part 2 of Silent Witness.
See you all in the morning. I did my big shop this morning before using Lily's TV so I am hoping I can get into the garden tomorrow.

I think when I was tired after the awful night in the hotel I rubbed my eyes too much.

Hope the soreness in your eyes heals up soon Busy as it must be unpleasant for you. Resist rubbing.
I'm signing off for tonight. Night all.

Good morning all. Going to a funeral in Bristol today, a girl fiancΓ© worked with down there, not looking forward to it I have never been to the funeral of a young person before.Β
We will take the opportunity to visit fiancΓ©s uncle who lives nearby so it will be a productive day if not a good one.Β

Good morning Debs. It will be a rough day for sure. Its so sad when anyone passes away but more so when it is a younger person. I'm sure the visit to your fiancΓ©'s uncle will help alleviate the sadness.
