I was due to go and pick up some blood test forms from the surgery in the village this morning but just on the off chance I had a look at BT appointments and there was one left for tomorrow morning. This means I can kill two birds with one stone (Ante = obtain two things at once) and I don't have to venture too far this morning.

I'm glad you are feeling a bit better, Rubee. I'm better, I think it was just one of those 24 hour things.
Remembered that I've forgotten to prune the grape vine, must be done in the winter. We are off to catch the ferry tomorrow. I don't feel ready to leave here but we have to if OH wants to come back in the spring. Dratted Brexit.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Good morning Busy. I hope that you get the grape vine pruned! Had a quick walk up to the post box - sun is shining but it is -1ยฐC outside and the ground is sprinkled with that frozen rain that looks like little polystyrene balls. When I filled the bird feeders I noticed that the bird baths are iced over as well - another job for me to get sorted.

Morning all. Freezing this morning, there's a film of ice on the bird baths and some of the compost in the pots are hard. Temperatures must have dipped significantly during the night. Today I have to do an E Consult form to the surgery. Iย need to change one of my medicines but the surgery rang to advise the doctor would need to speak to me about it first. But I have to fill a form in requesting that a doc ring me! ย Crackers.ย Safe journey tomorrow Busy, take care and hope you arrive safe and sound. Rubee, good to see you were feeling a bit better yesterday, hope today the improvements continue.ย
Morning Hazel. We have had some similar experiences this morning! I share your frustration Hazel. It begs the question, why could he not just have rung you and saved all the faff?! Grrrr.

Have heard from my cousin in Australia. She is going through a heatwave at the moment - ย 41 plus degrees and only getting down to 27 overnight๐ฌ The humidity has been unbelievable. ย They have had the worst thunderstorm they have ever seen and some people have lost their houses after lightening caused bushfires which burnt the houses down. These abnormal weather patterns have certainly started to create havoc and destruction now all over the world.
Oh my goodness Hazel - such a contrast in temperatures. My sis-in-law is in Perth and her son and his wife are in Sydney. I haven't heard from them so maybe your cousin is in another area.
