Good morning Ruby and all arriving soon. I was awake then but dropped back to sleep. You sound as though you have a busy day ahead. It is one of my sisters birthday today so I am going to go down and grab a cup of coffee with her. Hope the M6 isn't too busy, I noticed on Christmas Day how bad the surface has become - so much for designing the 'smart motorway' which to me seems anything but. The rain is heaving down and parts of my lane get flooded when we have so much. Driving through that is horrible - I hope nothing is coming in the opposite direction so I can drive in the middle.

Good morning Rubee, LB and all to follow.

Rubee, how is your OH, and does the new medication works for him? Sorry if I missed that information somewhere before.

LB, Happy birthday to your sister. Have a nice time with her.

I slept much better last night, and now have my cup of tea. After lunch I might go to cottage with Max. It's warm and sunny morning. I'm not complaining but this is not normal weather at all.Β Β

Good morning Ante. It is interesting how you are observing this odd weather. There has just been a little mention on TV about how the altering, and warmer seasons are affecting wildlife here in the UK. Apparently red deer, our largest native land mammals, are breeding earlier than normal because their breeding genes are evolving at a comparatively fast rate due to the warming temperatures. This evolution is occurring at a much faster rate than is to be expected. All fascinating stuff.

Good morning Ante . So far OH has tolerated the new drug . He is getting some benefit .Its early days but we hope it’s the right drug for him . Unfortunately the new drug is focused on the head pain only ,it doesn’t focus on any other part of the body .
LB do take care on the road . The weather is horrid here.

Good morning @Bluejayway. Yes, I have just spotted a fly in that observation plan. I wonder if drones can be controlled over that distance?
Ruby, that is such positive news for one aspect of your OH's condition. Long may it continue. I will most definitely be going carefully on the roads.

    Morning all,

It's Marti again after the glorious respite of yesterday. Youngest and here OH were still here so I didn't make the most of it - just a quick tidy and tying up some fruit bushes that were getting battered in all the regular storms we seem to get. It will be annoying if I don't make any real progress with the garden during this week off. As it will be April before I can devote any quality time to it. Weekends seem to get eaten up with 'other stuff'.Β

Morning Biglad. I will keep my fingers crossed that you do manage to make some inroads into your gardening jobs. I think you might be playing 'dodge the Marti' though.

    Good morning all,

well, it’s very dreich here after yesterdays respite. I’m glad I managed to get out for a walk as I don’t think I’ll be going far today. This rain is set for the daylight hours.

I hope the roads aren’t too busy @Ladybird4, take care on your journey and enjoy your visit with your sister.

Fingers crossed that you manage to get a few garden jobs done this week @Biglad, but I think today, at least, is set to be wet all day - certainly here it is.
