Gosh T'Bird, your post mentioning the bins and emptying made me check my calendar. Normally my bins are emptied on a Thursday but this week it is Friday. A one off, because of the holidays. Paper bin for me this week.
Ruby, I enjoy Baileys too - in my coffee instead of milk. I wish that I could sleep in the afternoon like you but I'm way too nosy and would be worried I might miss something!
Well done Busy on your hard work in the garden. It will look a picture in the summer. Have a safe trip to No 2 Son's tomorrow.
I am signing out for tonight so will say night night to you all. See you in the morning.

A very good morning one and all. It seems that some parts near me were subjected to the worst of storm Gerrit yesterday evening. It was certainly windy here but no catastrophic damage done that I can onserve at the moment. I hope everyone has managed to survive without any major disasters.

No disasters here, that I can see. Certainly was blowy, and it sounded as though damage might be done. I'll take a look down the garden later.
    Hope your day is calmer.

I'm going to Son 2 for lunch today. All my children and grandchildren will be there. More presents will be opened.

Morning. Sun is out but it's still very windy. Weekly SM shop due today and then popping into town.
Checked greenhouse this morning, 23's bean is well away now with lots of foliage and all my other eight broad beans are popping through now so 100 per cent success. I'm well chuffed.
Hope all those visiting today have nice days.
