Just finishing my cuppa here @Dovefromabove - tea for me - the rain is lashing down and it has been very windy overnight. Got a bit wet as old rayburn needed riddling out and emptying and a hod of coal needed filling. The dogs woke up and said 'oh goody are we going out' and then promptly stopped in the doorway as soon as they saw the weather and returned to their various sleeping areas, lazy pair.
Glad to hear that all was well with your results @Pat E, time to take it easy for a few days now your visitors have gone home. Was Pixel glad to see your son again?
Courage now @punkdoc, we are all behind you so I'm sure everything will be fine. Think ahead to the Spring and the pain free time you are going to enjoy in the garden.
Well done @D0rdogne_Damsel, enjoy your week ahead and try to get some relaxing breaks for yourself.
Morning, yes we are all rooting for you Punkdoc,is there room for anymore of us in the OR,! Well, AnnaB, riddles with the Rayburn eh, where I come from, the word riddling, had a MUCH different meaning! Lots of folk coming from near my neck of the woods then!
Thank you guys. The man has been and gone. When he came to look at the problem in May it was nothing to do with him. Now he admits responsibility, why didn't he 6 months ago? Apparently it was our fault, we should have written a formal email instead of just phoning and texting him. OK: stiff email sent.

I’ve grabbed a mince pie and coffee to take for my journey to work (thanks Dove!) - it’s stormy out so take care all.
last night I saw the moon! Yes it is a big deal since we haven't had clear skies since mid October. This morning is cloudy again.
This morning the man who did a bad job on the balcony is coming to argue his case: I must be firm. I won't bore you with the details yet.
Wishing you a lovely day and no worries at all for @punkdoc.

Calm down, @punkdoc, you'll push your BP up. It will be fine.
I'm having coffee in bed. No mince pies or sausage rolls, I left them behind at Son's. I've lit the fires.
Good luck with the balcony man @coccinella.
Good luck @coccinella 💪
