OH is much better so our postponed friends are coming to dinner tomorrow.
We went to Sainsbugs to buy a white thermal T shirt for OH to wear under his dress shirt and DJ. Also to Currys for a hairdrier for me and to BeenQ for an electric saw for one of OH's Christmas presents. My hairdrier overheated, it's quite old now.
My evening dress is now flattened with the hot but not too hot, thing and is hanging up in the guest room.
My Christmas cards to France have been posted.

Good morning everyone. We were runners up last night but I still enjoyed the evening. Looks like another wet morning this morning - bit dark yet to see. I am expecting a few parcels some time this week so I hope that none are due Thursday when I'm at Bestie's. Don't want anything left if it is pouring down! Going to make two more Christmas cakes today - fruit has been soaking in sherry overnight. Still got cards to write and pressies to wrap and then I can think about decorations.
