    Morning all.

    DENTIST!!!! @Biglad.....!

LB, glad to hear the arm is slowly easing. Ante, still raining here coupled with a dense fog this morning. That's wasn't forecast. Going to pop into town as I need a new iphone cover for the mobile and will then have a stroll and browse round the shops.

Rubee, how is Rosie? Please say hello from me and give her my best. How is your OH? Has he got over the bug?

Busy, oh oh, another dental visit, this one shouldn't be as traumatic as the last visit though. My goodness, a boar in the hayfield, that could be a title to a songπŸ™‚ good luck Β at the doctors too.

Good afternoon all. Trust all the dental/medical visits went well. It has been a proper autumnal day today. When I walked up to the post box it was mild and clear. An hour later when I was taking some notes on tinnitus I had downloaded and printed off for Jack, across the road, the mist had decided and it had gone very raw outside. I told Jack that I thought it was like a proper bonfire night atmosphere. He agreed. Oddly, I haven't heard any fireworks round here which usually, by now, I have done.
Tonight I will be watching the play off for 3rd place in the rugby world cup England v Argentina. It will be a bit bitter sweet. Talking to my sis today she confirmed that she and BIL will be returning home on Monday - after the grand final (which I think will be a great match). Please don't mention the cricket either!

Signing out for today. Bracing myself for the rugby. I notice Biglad hasn't been around. Maybe he got the last of his letters delivered today and I hope he did ring the Dentist. There will be trouble ahead!

We started the day with thick fog LB which only start to lift slightly late morning. It's Β been raining all afternoon so it's been quite a miserable day here. However, ai have managed to pot on some snapdragon seedlings, I seem to have lots of them now.
I hope you enjoy the Rugby, seems to be a lot of matches on lately.
Rubee, hope you're getting to grips with your new phone. They do rather scramble Β the brain when they're being set up.

Hazel it isn’t a new phone . My existing phone was scrambled for some reason. Β I had to start it from factory settings .It was very difficult to reset . I don’t know why .
    LB enjoy your Rugby .

I had a horrible day. Sore tooth socket, bitten cheek and sore tongue. The good bit was the sharp bit of tooth has been filled off and tongue feels better already. The bad bit is that I have a dry socket. A blood clot is supposed to form in the socket to protect the nerves while it healed. It didn't. Son said he would have to make it bleed - ouch, pain as bad as the extraction, has hurt all day. I've been very tired too since getting back so late last night from babysitting and waking too early with face ache.

    Evening all,

Thanks for the reminders folks but I've only just logged on :o

Fridays are the pinnacle of the working week's tedium, so I've had my head down for a 12 hour stint. Monday is generally a less pressurised day so I'll get hold of the dentist then.

Only 2 weeks left until freedom hopefully.

Was another nice day here but wasted on me - went out to get the milk at about 8am and that was it :( Fingers crossed the weekend isn't a complete washout. Will make an early start on the letters if it's fine in the morning. Get that job out of the way.

  • Thought I'd drop in and see what's occurring.

Seems I'm the first of the day.

Spent yesterday measuring up in the new place. Realised that our fridge freezer and washing machine won't fit. Got to buy smaller ones, unless we can persuade the current owners to leave theirs.Β

So how are those of you needing, or recovering from, dental treatment?Β
